Friends-Together Postcard Project
📝 Small Cards. Lasting Kindness.
Sometimes the simplest gesture changes everything.
The Postcard Project began with a single postcard sent to a friend in assisted care who was blind and hard-of-hearing. Staff would read it aloud and place it in her hands—a small, tangible reminder that she was remembered. That little act of kindness brought warmth to an environment that could feel isolating, and it inspired the creation of the Postcard Project we know today.

✉️What the Postcard Project Does
Many people could use a little extra connection in their day—whether they live alone, in assisted living, in rural areas, or are facing serious health challenges. Friends-Together volunteers send postcards filled with kind thoughts and encouragement—small reminders that someone is thinking of them and that they truly matter.
Recipients receive postcards throughout the year, bringing little moments of kindness and encouragement into their lives. All postcards are sent without signatures and with the Friends-Together logo, so the focus stays entirely on the message of support and care.
