The Flow Project

Period poverty is a global issue affecting millions of people who lack access to menstrual products, education, and sanitation facilities. Many girls and women are forced to miss school, work, and daily activities simply because they cannot afford basic menstrual supplies.

At Friends-Together, we are committed to fighting period poverty through our Flow Project, which donates thousands of reusable sanitary pads to girls and women in need both in the U.S. and abroad. By providing access to menstrual products, we help ensure that no girl misses out on education or opportunities due to her period.

You can make a difference! Just a $20 donation supplies a woman or girl with pads for an entire year. Join us in this mission to empower women and promote menstrual equity worldwide.

Medical Clinic & Pantry

The Friends-Together Medical Clinic is dedicated to providing healthcare to women and children infected and affected by HIV. We provide medical treatment both at our clinic and through home visits. Our food pantry helps patients maintain their health by providing the nourishment needed to support their treatment and recovery.

For just $550 a month, we can provide both medical care and nutritious food, so no one has to choose between their health and their next meal.

Tailoring School

Friends-Together supports the Tanzania TAFCOM Tailoring School. This program is dedicated to empowering women by providing the opportunity to learn how to sew while teaching the essential business skills to become entrepreneurs. As part of the program, students are addressing a critical need in their community by making the reusable sanitary pads distributed as part of the Friends-Together Flow Project.

With a gift of $150, you can sponsor a student for a year, empowering them with skills to build a better future.

Solar Lights

Many homes in Tanzania still lack electricity and remain without lighting. Friends-Together is tackling this challenge by providing small, portable solar lights to families in need. Additionally, we have raised funds to purchase solar panels and batteries, bringing much-needed light to schools and creating brighter futures for students.

Join us in supporting this important cause and help spread the light for just $25. Your contribution can brighten homes and schools, making a lasting impact on communities in need.
